Continuing Dr Chilima’s Christmas Tradition of Caring for Hospital Patients

The Saulos Klaus Chilima Foundation has called on individuals and companies to support patients in hospitals during the festive period.

Board Chairperson Mary Chilima made the call at Kamuzu Central Hospital in Lilongwe during the donation of food items, saying the initiative continues the late Dr Chilima’s legacy of visiting and encouraging patients during Christmas.

Kamuzu Central Hospital Director General, Dr Amos Nsekandiana, commended the foundation for the gesture and encouraged other well-wishers to emulate the initiative.

The foundation has made similar donations to Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital and Mzuzu Central Hospital, with the total value of the donations standing at K7.4 million.
